MY STORY

Since I was a child I always knew that I wanted to be in a profession that allowed me to be of service to others. Encouraging people to live their best, most authentic lives resonates deeply with me and I get so much meaning from being able to motivate and inspire the people around me, whether in a professional setting or having a causal conversation with friends.

Growing up, I was very interested in exercise, nutrition, and sports, which led me to pursue a degree in Kinesiology at York University. During this time I was a personal trainer and really enjoyed working with athletes, blue collar workers, and weekend warriors who wanted to make positive changes in their lives. Although I really enjoyed working with people in this capacity, I was still very confused about where I wanted to take my career. I was uncertain of how I could leverage my skills and passion for health and wellness in a way that would bring me true satisfaction and purpose in my life.

As I was coming close to graduating, I shadowed multiple professionals and I realized that a career as a Chiropractor would allow me to impact peoples lives in a variety of ways. Not only would I be able to help my patients recover from acute sports injuries and manage chronic pain but I would also be able to connect with them on a deeper level, providing them with tools and techniques that could help them make monumental changes in their lives.

Training to be a chiropractor was a very long and arduous process, however, I learned so much about myself and slowly cultivated my technical skillset while my passion for helping others continued to grow. Since graduating in 2015, I have made it my mission to continue developing myself in my professional career as well as my personal life. There is so much more I want to learn, so many ways I want to give back, I am excited about the journey ahead.
